TARQ and Flying Tricycle present Enter the world of Man Ray! – a workshop based on the on-going show, Views of the Spirit, an exhibition of photographs by the legendary 20th century photographer Man Ray. This is the first time Man Ray’s photographs are being exhibited in India and it’s a great opportunity for budding photographers to get inspired!
The children will be using their own cameras to capture objects, nature and themselves. We’ll be exploring photography as a medium by exploring aspects such as light and dark, contrasts and the use of space within a frame and build interesting collages. We’ll also be learning about Man Ray’s innovative technique of ‘Rayography’ and get a brief glimpse into the art movements of his time.
