11 am - 1:30 pm
Sgraffito is a form of decoration in pottery, where you apply layers of colour to the surface, and scratch or carve it, reveiling the bottom layers of clay, creating a recessed relief pattern.
In this workshop, each participant will be given a pre-made trinket dish that they will paint and carve in various decorative designs to their liking. The pieces will then be fired by the facilitator and sent to the participants 2 weeks after the workshop.
