'Dreamlets' are the physical depictions of the in-between state of resting and wakefulness, as the body slowly lends into its unconscious. In this refiring process, these porcelain paper clay works have obtained their own floating quality through being captured as still thoughts in a dreamscape. With organic material, as is her staple, Savia has used rust extracted from other found objects, the 'ghost material' is paper that hints at its presence with its absence after the firing processes, the everyday-ness comes across through the loofah fibers, and the naturally occurring mother of pearl.
